Library components

Understand how the component library helps you reuse complete sections, page blocks, and rows across pages.

What the Library page is for

The Library page is for copying existing editable page components into the page you are building. It works with sections, page blocks, and rows that already exist in your organization or have been published by another organization.

Use it when you want a proven hero, feature band, pricing block, testimonial card, navbar, footer, or row pattern without rebuilding the structure by hand.

Component modes

The library has several modes so you can copy the right amount of structure.

  • Sections copy the selected section shell. This is useful when you want the layout and section-level fields without all child rows.
  • Page Blocks copy a section and its rows together. Use this for complete reusable bands like proof grids, FAQ areas, pricing sections, footer blocks, and feature sections.
  • Rows copy a single row into a selected target section. This is best when you already have the section layout and only need another card, testimonial, offer, nav link, or raw HTML row.
  • Favorites and Recent help you return to components your organization has saved or used before.

My Components versus Community

My Components shows components from the selected organization. These are your own editable sections and rows, including anything you have published to the library.

Community shows components published by other organizations. Community components can be liked, saved, previewed, and copied into your own pages, but the original record remains owned by the source organization.

  • Private organization components are not visible to other organizations.
  • Publish to library makes a component available through community discovery; Remove from library withdraws it.
  • Copying a published component creates your own editable copy and does not publish that copy by default.
  • Likes help rank useful community items once they reach enough signal, while your own content remains under My Components.

How to use it safely

Choose a target page before copying sections or page blocks. Choose a target section before copying rows. Preview the component first, then copy it and make any local edits in your page builder.
